On 6th June 2019 a Peace Picnic was held with 400 school children and Friends of the Peace Orchard to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

To mark the 74th anniversary of D-Day and launch the Coventry Community Peace Orchard, 300 people of all ages and backgrounds joined the Lord Mayor of Coventry at a Peace Picnic.
